The A cut is where age-group competition starts to filter — typically the top half of an age group at the LSC level.

Motivational cuts only exist for ages 5–18. The Senior (19 & over) column intentionally has no value — once a swimmer ages out of age-group competition, the relevant standards become the elite cuts (Sectionals → Futures → Nationals).
