By using Swimmer Rankings (the "Site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

What the Site is

Swimmer Rankings is a directory and analytics layer over the public USA Swimming results record. We provide rank lookups, time-standard comparisons, recruiting projections, and related views. Times and ranks are not official USA Swimming results; they are our computation derived from the public record.

Acceptable use

Personal use, research, recruiting, and journalism are all welcome.
No automated scraping of the Site at a rate materially above human browsing speed without prior written permission. The underlying USA Swimming data has its own terms you must comply with separately.
No coach-to-athlete contact features are provided here. Do not attempt to derive private contact information from the Site.
No misrepresentation: do not present Site content as official USA Swimming output.

Accuracy disclaimer

We work hard to keep times, ranks, club affiliations, and meet attribution accurate, but the upstream USA Swimming data sometimes contains misattributed swims, duplicate identities, and ingest gaps. We mark coverage state per LSC; rankings in partial-coverage LSCs may be incomplete. Always verify against the official USA Swimming record for anything load-bearing.

Recruiting and college-fit features

The SR Rating, ceiling projections, conference fit, and school-match scores are statistical estimates. They are built from public NCAA roster data and historical USA Swimming performance trajectories. They are not college admissions advice. Coaches make recruiting decisions; these scores are inputs, not outcomes.

Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the Site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
