In practice swimmers improve across multiple events at once, so real progress will lift faster than these single-event deltas suggest.
No single-event drop within reachable bounds gets 425 all the way to 600. The gap from Building Base to D2/D3 Realistic closes through broad improvement — multiple events moving together. That’s exactly what college coaches want to see; specialists rarely make this jump on one event alone.
